Festival Gifts for Her: Visionary Art She'll Wear From the Dance Floor to the Couch

|Magus Fawn

The clues are already in her place, if you know where to look.

A pair of boots by the door with a little desert still in the treads. Glitter that has made a permanent home in the bathroom grout. A playlist called something like sunrise, do not skip. And on the back of the bedroom door, an empty hook exactly the right height for a cloak.

She's been telling you what she wants all year. She just hasn't spelled it out at a checkout counter.

Here's the trick to festival gifts for her: buy for the way she moves. The costume queen, the friend who's always reaching for a blanket, the dancer and the yogi all want different things, and every one of them wants art. Get it right and the gift doesn't wait in a drawer until summer. It goes on the minute the paper comes off.

We're Magus and Lylyth Fawn, two Los Angeles visionary artists, and we drew every design in this guide ourselves. Here are eight pieces, led by two cloaks, four kinds of festival women, and the date that gets it all under the tree.

Every time we open a new box of inventory, of freshly printed wearable art - it feels like Christmas and our birthdays all smashed into one moment. Each piece has a name and to see our intricate artwork in crisp, high def - printed on the garments: blows our minds each time. Its like being kids in a toy shop - we can’t hold ourselves back from all the “wows” and “look at this one’ as we hang them up, ready to showcase them at the next event.

What do you get a girlfriend who loves music festivals?

Get her a festival cloak, the showpiece she'll wear for years, then match smaller gifts to the way she festivals. At Magus Fawn, the costume queen gets a cloak with a back worth photographing, the always-cold one a cloak and a hooded blanket, the dancer a bodysuit or dress, and the yogi leggings and a kimono.

A cloak is the gift with the longest life. It goes over the bodysuit at a winter rave, over pajamas on the porch, and over everything at the campsite after midnight. You pick the faux-fur lining when you order, black or white, and we make the cloak for her from there. The art is dye-sublimated into the fabric rather than printed on top, so the colors don't crack or fade.

Not sure which she is? Check her festival photos. Face gems: the costume queen. Wearing your jacket: the always-cold one. Mid-spin in every shot: the dancer. Stretching at camp: the yogi. She might be all four.

For the costume queen: a showpiece cloak and a tube top bodysuit

Cosmic Cross Red women's festival cloak from the back near a festival stage: flame-orange and scarlet filigree with cobalt and violet, mirrored left to right

The costume queen plans her looks months ahead, owns more face gems than socks, and treats the walk to the main stage as a runway. Magus Fawn's gift for her: the cloak, plus a statement bodysuit to reveal when it swings open.

Cosmic Cross Red is cathedral filigree in a bonfire palette: flame-orange and scarlet linework laced with cobalt, violet and teal, mirrored left to right like a pair of open wings. The Cosmic Cross Red women's festival cloak ($250) has a micro-mink poly outer, a black or white faux-fur lining, a double front zipper, heavy drawstrings and four pockets: two inside, one of them zippered, and two deep side pockets. It's a unisex fit in sizes XS–5XL, and from behind it reads clear across a festival field, so her crew always finds her.

Electric Dragonscape tube top bodysuit at a festival: a silver-blue dragon with cobalt wings and a violet orb at the chest, black strapped side cut-outs

Under the cloak goes the second act. Electric Dragonscape spreads a silver-blue dragon across the body, cobalt wings sweeping out to the hips and a violet orb glowing at the chest like a heart of ice. The Electric Dragonscape tube top bodysuit ($75) has hollow sides crossed with black straps and clear shoulder straps, in sizes XS–2XL. Zip the cloak for the queue, unzip it at the drop. For the desert version, our Burning Man outfits for women has the playa playbook.

At home: the cloak becomes a throw on the couch for movie night; the bodysuit waits on a hanger as a promise of summer.

For the one who's always cold: a second cloak and a hooded blanket

Woman in the Forest Wizard women's festival cloak, hood up, from the side at a festival: black with pale starbursts, antlered skulls, roses and Celtic knotwork

Every crew has her: the friend who packs a tank top and spends the night wearing your jacket. Magus Fawn's gift for the woman who runs cold is warmth in two places, a faux-fur-lined cloak for the festival night and a hooded blanket for the sofa.

Forest Wizard is a midnight forest altar on a black ground: pale thistle-like starbursts, antlered deer skulls hung with moss, roses and gold chain, Celtic knotwork, and a clear faceted gem mid-back. The Forest Wizard women's festival cloak ($250) shares the Cosmic Cross build, unisex in XS–5XL; pick the white faux fur if she loves a bright collar around her face (read the story behind the design: The Back Way In). For layering, our FAQ suggests sizing outerwear up, "sometimes even 2 sizes up to fit extra layers under," and our cloak buyer's guide walks through it.

Woman from behind at a festival stage in the Angel Catcher Teal hooded blanket, cat-ear hood up: a glowing teal mandala between the shoulders on black, with smaller star medallions and aqua filigree

Then the couch. Angel Catcher Teal glows like a stained-glass window after dark: a teal mandala blooms between the shoulders of a black field, circled by smaller star medallions and fine aqua filigree. The Angel Catcher Teal hooded blanket with ears ($150) is an oversized one-size pullover (a 4XL) in 300 g/m² poly fleece, zipping a quarter of the way down the front, with a cat-ear hood and an oversized front pocket for cold hands. Our hooded blanket guide has more ideas.

At home: the blanket owns the sofa all winter; the cloak handles the porch and the winter campsite.

For the dancer: a bodysuit and a dress that move with her

Cyber Punk Mech cami bodysuit from the front: electric blue, violet and cyan machine shapes with white-line sacred geometry down the center, a rave gift for her

For the woman who dances from opening set to closing set, the supporting gift is a base layer with nothing to adjust. A bodysuit stays tucked through every spin, and a fitted dress turns the same energy into a silhouette. Both pack flat and layer under a cloak.

Cyber Punk Mech looks like a spacecraft opened up for repairs: electric blue, violet and cyan machine shapes, flashes of orange at the neckline, and white-line sacred geometry running down the center like a lit ladder. The Cyber Punk Mech cami bodysuit ($55) is a listed 180 g/m² stretch fabric in a skinny fit, sizes XS–2XL. For fit tips, our rave bodysuit guide covers every cut.

Egyptian Atlantis lace-up tube dress, off the shoulder with long sleeves: navy and gold with an eye medallion, a tree in a gold circle, temple columns, jackals and sphinxes along the hem

For the dancer with a flair for drama, Egyptian Atlantis is an Atlantean archive hauled up from the seabed: navy and gold, an eye medallion on the chest, a tree in a gold circle, birds and temple columns, and seated jackals and sphinxes lined up along the hem like guardians. The Egyptian Atlantis lace-up tube dress ($70) is off the shoulder with long sleeves and a lace-up back, 90% polyester and 10% spandex, skinny fit, sizes S–5XL. Our festival dress guide explains mesh, lace and tube cuts.

At home: the bodysuit goes under jeans for a December dinner; the dress goes to the New Year's party with the cloak over it.

For the yogi and flow artist: leggings and a kimono

Woman at a festival in the Solar Eclipse yoga leggings: charcoal with teal and copper swirls and a black sun ringed in orange-gold fire on the hip

The yogi's festival starts before breakfast: a sunrise flow on the grass, an ecstatic dance in the afternoon, poi or a hoop by the fire after dark. Our pick: printed leggings that stretch through the morning and a chiffon kimono that floats through the evening.

Solar Eclipse is an eclipse you can wear: a black sun ringed in orange-gold fire on the hip, with fine teal and copper lines swirling down both legs on charcoal. The Solar Eclipse women's yoga leggings ($70) are microfiber, 75% recycled poly and 25% elastane at 225 g/m², with a raised waistband and, in the listing's words, "Four-way stretch: full coverage when you bend." Sizes XS–XL; keep them to grass and smooth floors, since rough surfaces can snag microfiber. Our rave leggings guide has more pairs.

Woman in the ankle-length Liquid Fire chiffon kimono at a festival stage: tangerine, crimson, gold, magenta and grape marbling, tied at the waist

For the flow artist who wants something that moves when she does, Liquid Fire pours tangerine, crimson and gold into swirls of magenta and grape, like lava sliding downhill at dusk. The Liquid Fire chiffon kimono ($75) is 100% polyester chiffon at a listed 80 g/m², with cuffed sleeves and a waist belt, regular fit in sizes S–5XL. Spin, and the hem follows a half beat behind. Our festival kimono guide shows three ways to style it, and our ecstatic dance guide covers the barefoot floor.

At home: leggings for the living-room yoga mat, the kimono as the prettiest robe in the house.

Order by Tuesday, November 17 for Christmas morning

Magus Fawn makes every piece to order for the person who'll wear it. Production takes 7–11 business days, then delivery takes 6–14 business days. Plan for the slowest pairing of the two, 25 business days, and a gift ordered by Tuesday, November 17, 2026 lands on your doorstep by Christmas Eve.

The count pauses for weekends and for Thanksgiving week's Thursday and Friday. Shorter windows exist: November 25 covers our mid-range times and December 7 only our fastest, but November 17 is the date that lets you relax. Shopping for Hanukkah or another December celebration? The same production and delivery windows apply, so count back from your own date.

Before you check out:

  • Shipping: orders of $70 or more travel free within the US, smaller ones cost $8, and international shipping starts at $10. Every piece in this guide except the $55 bodysuit crosses the free line on its own.
  • Her size: the hooded blanket is one size; for everything else, check the tag on a favorite piece she already wears, or email her measurements to art@magusfawn.com. We typically reply within 1–2 business days.
  • Made for her alone: each piece is printed once you order, so there are no returns or exchanges for size or a change of heart. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, photograph it and email us within 48 hours of delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Is it weird to buy clothes for your girlfriend?

No. Clothing ranks among the most personal gifts there is, because it shows you've noticed how she likes to look and feel. Match her style rather than yours, check the size on something she already loves, and choose a piece with meaning. Festival art makes that easy, since every design tells a story.

What is a flow artist?

A flow artist dances with a prop, such as poi, a hoop, fans or a staff, moving it through rhythmic patterns to music. Poi, the art of swinging tethered weights in geometric patterns, originated with the Māori people of New Zealand. Today flow artists gather at fire circles and workshops at many festivals.

What's a good festival gift for her under $100?

At Magus Fawn, five of the eight pieces in this guide cost $75 or less: the cami bodysuit ($55), the tube top bodysuit ($75), the lace-up tube dress ($70), the yoga leggings ($70) and the chiffon kimono ($75). Each one carries a full visionary print, and four of them clear the US free-shipping line alone.
