Our warmest gift is a faux-fur-lined festival cloak ($250, sizes XS–5XL). The women's winter coat and one-size hooded blanket are $150. Cotton and crushed velvet hoodies run $75–$100, fleece joggers start at $100, and kids' pieces are $75. Everything is made to order, so order by Tuesday, November 17 to have it by Christmas Eve.
The 2 a.m. problem
There's a moment at every festival when the music is still going and the temperature isn't. The sun went down hours ago. The shirt that was perfect at 4 p.m. is now a mistake. Somebody's passing around a lighter like it's a heater.
Even Burning Man, a desert where days can top 100°F, warns that "pre-dawn temperatures can approach freezing." Everyone you know who goes to festivals has stood in that cold, and everyone has wished they'd brought something better.
We're Magus and Lylyth Fawn, two Los Angeles artists (also astrologers, authors, musicians and, when the moon's right, magicians). Magus Fawn is the clothing label where our artwork ends up. We wear it everywhere, not just at festivals, and most of what we make exists because we were cold once and extremely annoyed about it.
So this is our gift guide, ordered from warmest to smallest. Every piece carries our original art, printed so it won't crack or fade, ever.
Magus & I wear our cloaks in 30°-80°F temperatures. It’s our go-to, festival & rave essential. Weather can be unpredictable at events, whether we’re in Colorado for a Psytrance Festival in July or Mojave Desert underground rave in December, these cloaks are our must haves!
The cloak: our answer to the 2 a.m. problem

If you only buy one thing from this list, make it a cloak. It's a hooded, double zip-front cloak with soft micro-mink on the outside and a fluffy faux-fur fleece lining inside, in black or white. It zips all the way closed, and it has two deep pockets for your hands plus two inside for your phone and keys. At $250, it's the most expensive thing we make. It's also the one people write to us about.
One buyer got caught in snow wearing a Madriax cloak and told us: "I was in the snow accidentally and stayed incredibly warm thanks to this cloak! Has pockets too!" Nicholas bought a Sacred Grounds as a first cloak and reported: "Fell asleep with it on. Kept me warm all night." And Phil, who was skeptical about the price of an Angel Catcher cloak, wrote afterward: "Was it worth it? Hell YES it was!"
Which one? That's where it gets personal.
- For the one who leans dark and mythic: Crimson Fenrir, our newest design. A black wolf rises out of crimson smoke under a pale moon. In Norse myth, Fenrir snapped the gods' first two chains, so dwarves forged a third, Gleipnir, as thin as a silk ribbon. It holds him only until Ragnarök. It comes in a men's and a women's version.
- For the calm one in the loud crowd: the Celestial Temple Women's Cloak. It's midnight indigo, with teal, violet and gold temple geometry glowing down the back.
- For the one who'll end up in weather they didn't plan for: the Madriax Men's Festival Cloak, in violet and electric blue. That's the snow cloak.
- For the one whose festival starts with coffee at camp: the Sacred Grounds Women's Festival Cloak. A golden figure meditates above a steaming cup of coffee. Sacred grounds, literally.
Each of our pieces has a name. We pride ourselves in our intricacies, intentional and high vibrational artwork. They are inspired by sacred geometry, ancient magick, and occult spirituality - and are made to be conversation pieces. Each garment is wearable art that are designed to make you look like how you feel on the inside - absolutely legendary 🤩🔥🐐
A sizing note: cloaks are unisex and come in XS through 5XL. Go with their jacket size, or one up if they like to layer a hoodie underneath. They do run long - to keep your legs covered when it gets chilly. Tyler found an Ophanim cloak "a little longer than expected but I dont mind that at all."

The coat for everywhere that isn't a festival

Some people on your list need a real winter coat for the Monday commute that still looks like it came from somewhere interesting. The Void Mandala Women's Festival Winter Coat ($150) is mid-length and double-breasted with black buttons, and the body and hood are lined with vegan fleece.
A mandala is a circular map of the cosmos, used as a focus for meditation in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Ours is drawn in silver and charcoal. It's quiet from across a room and gets more intricate the closer someone stands. Sizes S–5XL.
The hooded blanket, for when you have no idea what size they wear

Picture a blanket that's been promoted to a hoodie. It's one size (an oversized 4XL), heavy fleece, with a quarter zip, a front pocket big enough for snacks, and a hood with cat ears. It's for 7 a.m. at camp with coffee, the car ride home, and the whole of January.
The Hooded Blanket w/ Ears | Sacred Grounds ($150) matches the Sacred Grounds cloak above. Other designs are in the hooded blanket collection.
Joggers they'll never take off

Our joggers are soft like cotton on the outside and brushed fleece on the inside, with cuffed ankles that keep the cold from sneaking up your legs. They're the pants you wear under a cloak at 2 a.m. and again at breakfast.
Try the Solar Eclipse joggers ($100; $105 in 2XL, $108 in 3XL) for a golden eclipse and fire-colored swirls. Or pick the Celestial Temple Men's Joggers ($100) to match the Celestial Temple cloak.
They run slim, so go one or two sizes up if they like a looser fit. More prints are in joggers.
A hoodie in actual cotton (this one's new)

Here's a festival-fashion secret: almost all wild, edge-to-edge printed clothing is polyester. The dyes that make those prints only grab onto polyester. A 2010 patent on the problem puts it bluntly: cotton printed this way "will not be satisfactorily printed with the ink." Older workarounds, the same patent says, gave "very poor color, unacceptable fastness" or a stiff fabric.
Our customers notice. Lukas gave an Angel Catcher cloak five stars and still wrote: "It's too bad it's all polyester… I guess it's hard to make these kind of prints on other materials."
So, Lukas: through our cut-and-sew partners, we can now print our artwork onto 100% cotton. As of October 2026, we haven't seen another festival brand doing it.
We now offer 100% cotton dye sublimation! We’re really excited about this new collection because of the natural fiber option. The print on our cotton collection vs our poly is the same crisp, high quality and vibrant art. It’s soft against the skin and thicker, keeping you cozy while wearing it.
All our garments, according to the care guide, is machine wash, cold - w/ like colors, tumble dry. But we recommend hang to dry for the life of the fabric. We highly recommend to hang dry your cotton sublimation garments - because pilling will occur under high agitation.
A fun fact: if pilling does occur, run a clean & dry shaving razor over your flat garment.
The Crimson Fenrir cotton hoodie and the Celestial Temple cotton hoodie are $100 each. They're cozy 310 g/m² cotton, with a kangaroo pocket and drawstring hood, in sizes XS all the way to 6XL. Cotton shrinks a little (3–5% on the first wash), so size up if they're between sizes. See every design in cotton hoodies.
Crushed velvet, for the one who lives on the dance floor

Crushed velvet does something under stage lights that's hard to describe until you see it. The texture breaks the light into hundreds of tiny glints, so the art seems to move when you do.
The Golden Phoenix crushed velvet hoodie ($100) is a bird that burns down and rises from its own ashes. It's what you want across your chest when the sun comes up after an all-nighter.
For a cropped look, the Galactic Alien Oracle crop hoodie ($75) layers beautifully over a bodysuit or under an open cloak. More in crushed velvet.
Tiny festival-goers

Kids get cold at festivals too, and they're far less polite about it.
Our Mechanical Kraken kid's hoodie ($75) has a drawstring-free hood for safety, and it resists wrinkles and pilling. The matching kid's cotton sweatpants ($75) use the same new cotton printing as the adult hoodies.
Here's the fun part: 14 of our 16 kids' designs share their artwork with an adult cloak. That means a Mechanical Kraken men's cloak, a women's version and a small kraken hoodie can all walk into camp together. See all kids' festival clothing.
The stocking stuffer

A $40 snapback is the easiest way to give someone a piece of a bigger look. Nearly 30 of our designs come as one, and every hat is one size fits most.
Luminous wrote about the Angel Catcher Purple snapback: "Very nice and I love how its fitted for winter warmth." The Crimson Fenrir snapback matches the cloak and hoodie. See every snapback.
If you want non-clothing ideas too, kandi, earplugs and the rest, our 25 gifts for ravers has you covered.
The practical bits
When to order festival clothing for Christmas 2026
Order by Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Every Magus Fawn piece is made to order: production takes 7–11 business days, and delivery takes another 6–14 business days (shipping policy). November 17 covers the longest of those windows before December 24, though December carrier delays can still add time.
| If you order by… | Business days until Dec 24 | What that covers |
|---|---|---|
| Tue, Nov 17 | 25 | Our longest quoted production + delivery times |
| Wed, Nov 25 | 19 | Mid-range times |
| Mon, Dec 7 | 13 | Only our fastest times. Not recommended |
Business days skip weekends and Thanksgiving plus the day after (Nov 26–27). US shipping is free on orders of $70 or more and $8 below that. International shipping starts at $10.
How to size a festival clothing gift
For adults, buy their usual size with three exceptions. Joggers are slim, so go 1–2 sizes up. Cloaks need room if they layer. The cotton hoodie shrinks 3–5% on the first wash. The hooded blanket and snapbacks are one size, so they're the safest picks when you can't ask. Everything is made to order, so all sales are final (FAQ).
| Gift | Fit | Sizes | If you're unsure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Festival cloak | Unisex | XS–5XL | Jacket size; size up to layer |
| Women's winter coat | Regular | S–5XL | Their usual coat size |
| Hooded blanket | Oversized | One size (4XL) | Fits most adults |
| Joggers | Slim | XS–3XL | 1–2 sizes up |
| Cotton pullover hoodie | Regular | XS–6XL | Size up (3–5% shrinkage) |
| Crushed velvet hoodie | Regular | S–2XL (crop S–3XL) | Their usual size |

Frequently asked questions
When should I order festival clothing to arrive by Christmas 2026?
Order Magus Fawn festival clothing by Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Every piece is made to order, which takes 7–11 business days, and delivery takes another 6–14 business days. November 17 covers that longest quoted window of 25 business days before December 24. December carrier delays can still add time, and later orders carry more risk.
Are festival cloaks warm enough for winter?
Yes, for festival nights, camping and cold evenings. Magus Fawn cloaks have a micro-mink poly outer, a fluffy faux-fur fleece lining, a double front zipper and heavy drawstrings. Customers report staying warm all night and even in unexpected snow. For freezing temperatures, layer a hoodie underneath.
Is a $250 festival cloak worth it as a gift?
For someone who'll wear it every cold night, yes. A faux-fur-lined Magus Fawn cloak with four pockets does the work of a jacket and a camp blanket. Phil, reviewing an Angel Catcher cloak in October 2023, wrote: "I was pretty dang skeptical to make this purchase due to price and such. Was it worth it? Hell YES it was!"
Can I return or exchange a Magus Fawn gift?
No. Everything is made to order, so all sales are final and Magus Fawn can't accept returns or exchanges for size. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact art@magusfawn.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos and it will be made right, so check gifts on arrival. EU orders have a 14-day cooling-off period.
Can you dye-sublimate 100% cotton?
Yes, but not with sublimation alone. Sublimation turns disperse dye into a gas that diffuses into polyester fibers; untreated cotton can't hold it. Older fixes coated the cotton, which tended to dull the color, wash out or stiffen the fabric. Magus Fawn's cut-and-sew partners now dye-sublimate 100% cotton hoodies, tees and kids' sweatpants with a newer process.
