Someone has drawn a lipstick heart on the coat-check mirror, a little lopsided, and it fogs over each time the door lets the February air in. Behind the counter hangs a wall of cloaks in rose, crimson and violet, with one covered in kittens. Out on the floor, a dancer has tucked a single red rose behind one ear, and the whole room seems to agree with the choice.
This year the calendar plays matchmaker. Galentine's Day lands on Saturday, February 13, 2027, Valentine's Day on Sunday the 14th, and Monday the 15th is both Singles Awareness Day and a federal holiday. That's three nights, three kinds of love and one long weekend.

Which colors say Valentine's Day on a dance floor?
Red and pink say it first, and the cosmic shades between them, magenta, plum and violet, say it with a little more mystery. Choose one print that carries a heart, a rose or a deep red glow, and keep everything around it simple. Magus Fawn's Valentine's palette starts with one hero layer and builds outward.
The symbols are older than the rave. Wikipedia's Valentine's Day entry lists the heart-shaped outline, doves and the winged Cupid among the holiday's symbols today, and calls roses, "especially red roses," the most popular flower. Wear one of those motifs and the whole crowd reads the message from across the room.
The hero layer. The Hearts & Roses women's festival cloak ($250) is our love letter in fleece. A glossy crimson heart, folded into itself like ribbon, sits between the shoulders. Beneath it a single red rose climbs on its stem, and smaller hearts and roses drift through marbled pink, magenta, plum, lilac and cream all the way to the hem. Think of it as the bouquet that never wilts, a cloak to pull out each February and wear on the cold nights in between.
The build is pure comfort. The outer is micro-mink poly, the lining is ultra-soft microfiber fleece in black or white faux fur, and the listed fabric weight is 200 g/m². It closes with a double front zipper and heavy drawstrings, and it carries four pockets: two interior stash pockets (one zippered) and two deep side pockets for warm hands. Unisex fit, XS–5XL. The design's love story is Twelfth Place, a speed-dating night at a Mexico City rave.
Galentine's Saturday: kittens, violet and the whole crew
Galentine's Day celebrates women's friendship and is "typically marked as February 13," according to Wikipedia's Galentine's Day entry, which traces it to a 2010 episode of Parks and Recreation. In 2027 it lands on a Saturday night, which is all a dance crew needs to hear.
The friendship cloak. The Valentine Day Cats women's festival cloak ($250) is a whole litter of affection: wide-eyed ginger and tabby kittens tumble through swirls of cobalt, violet, lilac and white, glossy pink, red and blue hearts float between them, and two small black kittens sit together near the hem. It shares the faux-fur-lined build of the Hearts & Roses cloak in XS–5XL, so the crew's coat-check line becomes a gallery. Its story, The Last Yes, is a Galentine's warehouse night in Nashville.
The afters, the sleepover and the Sunday-morning brunch. Kittens on the cloak, cat ears on the hood. The Amethyst Unicorn hooded blanket ($150) shows a white unicorn rearing inside an arch of violet smoke on a starry indigo field, with amethyst crystal points rising along the hem. It's 100% poly fleece at 300 g/m², an oversized pullover with a cat-ear hood, a front quarter zip and an oversized front pocket, one size (4XL). The listing calls it "Perfect for lounging, chilly rave nights, camping festivals, travel," and we'd add the drive home from a Galentine's party with the heater still warming up. Valentine's Sunday: date night in two cloaks
A Sunday Valentine's Day with a holiday Monday behind it is a gift to night owls with the day off: dance late, sleep in. Wear the Hearts & Roses cloak, and let your date carry a second cloak in a different print with the same warm glow.
The second cloak. The Cosmic Cross Red men's festival cloak ($250) is built from copper and ember-orange filigree in a mirrored lattice, with a cross-shaped emblem at the center of the back and panels of cobalt, teal and violet glowing through, sparked with magenta. Beside the Hearts & Roses cloak it reads like fire beside a bouquet: different art, the same warmth. It shares the same lining, zipper and four-pocket build, and the same unisex XS–5XL range.

What do you wear to a Singles Awareness Day party?
Wear whatever makes you your own best date: a bold print, something soft against your skin and a layer that's entirely yours. Singles Awareness Day falls on February 15, the day after Valentine's Day, and celebrates love for friends, family and yourself. Magus Fawn's pick is a wolf, the original free spirit, in crushed velvet.
Wikipedia's Singles Awareness Day entry describes it as "a celebration of love in other forms recognizing the love between friends, family and even loving yourself." In 2027 it shares Monday, February 15 with Washington's Birthday, often called Presidents' Day, on the OPM federal holiday schedule, so anyone with the holiday off can dance late on Sunday.
The lone-wolf layer. On the Crimson Fenrir crushed velvet hoodie ($100), a black-and-grey wolf with glowing eyes and bared teeth rises up the back out of crimson smoke, one paw reaching down, all on black velvet. Red belongs to this weekend, and this is red with a growl. It's 240 g/m² crushed velvet (95% poly, 5% spandex) with long sleeves, a drawstring hood and a front kangaroo pocket, regular fit in S–2XL. The legs for dancing till close. The Angel Catcher Red joggers ($100; $105 in 2XL, $108 in 3XL) spread crimson and coral feathered wings across charcoal, with a rose-pink Flower of Life hexagon at the hip and small circle-and-star medallions below it. They're 308 g/m² (96% recycled poly, 4% elastane) with a soft cotton-feel face, brushed vegan fleece inside, cuffed legs, side pockets and an elastic waistband with a drawstring. Love Burn 2027: Valentine's weekend on Virginia Key
Love Burn lists February 11–14, 2027 on its official site, an "Interactive Art Community Event in Miami, Florida since 2014," with the 2027 theme "SHOWTIME!" Its survival guide packing list asks for "Swimwear (for wading in the ocean)" and a "Warm coat - furry or otherwise (with your name in it somewhere, please!)."
That's a two-piece packing plan we love: something for the water, and something faux-fur-lined for after dark. Either cloak above answers the second line.

When should you order a Valentine's Day 2027 outfit?
Order by Thursday, January 7, 2027. Every Magus Fawn piece begins after you order it, with 7–11 business days in production and 6–14 more in transit. Even if both windows run their full length, a January 7 order lands at a US door by Friday, February 12, in time for Galentine's Saturday and Valentine's Sunday.
