Spiritual Gifts With Sacred Geometry, Chakras and the Third Eye: Wearable Art for Yogis and Dreamers

|Magus Fawn

The yoga mat is still rolled up by the door, and the candle on the windowsill has burned down to a soft puddle of wax, when your friend lifts the lid of the box. Inside, folded into a square, is a rainbow. Red at the bottom, then orange, gold, green, blue, indigo and a violet hood, each band crowded with lace-fine mandalas.

They say nothing for a moment. Then they stand, shrug it on, pull the hood up and settle back onto the rug, cross-legged, as if they'd worn it for years.

That's a spiritual gift landing. It doesn't explain itself. It recognizes something the person already carries and gives it a shape they can wear to the studio, the full-moon circle and the festival sunrise.

We're Magus and Lylyth Fawn, two Los Angeles visionary artists, and we've spent years drawing these symbols: chakra wheels, the Flower of Life, the Om, the open eye. Here are our gifts for the chakra devotee, the sacred geometry lover, the yogi and the third-eye dreamer, plus a few thoughts on giving a sacred symbol with care.

What makes a good spiritual gift?

A good spiritual gift carries a symbol the person already loves, in a form they'll use every day. At Magus Fawn, our first choice is a festival cloak printed with that symbol, for cold mornings and long ceremonies; then mandala leggings for the mat or an Om on a snapback. Add a card naming the symbol's source.

Look at their altar shelf, their tattoos, the poster over their mat: that's the symbol. A cloak gives it the biggest canvas we print, the whole back from hood to hem, and it's the piece they'll wrap up in for years of sunrise sits and fire circles. Each one is made to order, lined in black or white faux fur, your choice.

Chakra gifts: a rainbow of mandalas from hem to hood

Man at a festival main stage in the Chakra Mandala men's festival cloak, hood up, red, orange, gold, green, blue and violet mandala bands climbing from hem to hood

The chakra system comes from Hindu and tantric traditions; the rainbow color scheme most people know is a later, Western addition. We tell that story, and how to wear chakra art respectfully, in Chakra Colors and Meanings.

For the one who meditates outdoors in every season: Chakra Mandala stacks seven bands of round, lace-fine mandalas up the whole cloak. Deep red rings the hem, then orange and gold, a band of green across the chest, blue and indigo at the shoulders, and violet on the hood. From behind, it reads like a body lighting up from ground to crown. The Chakra Mandala men's festival cloak ($250) has a 200 g/m² micro-mink poly outer, an ultra-soft fleece lining in black or white faux fur, a double front zipper, heavy drawstrings and four pockets. Unisex fit, XS–5XL (read its story: What the Painter Saw).

Woman from behind at a festival in the Mystical Egypt crushed velvet crop hoodie, a column of glowing red, orange, gold and green orbs rising up the spine to a pharaoh's face on the hood

For the dancer who wants the chakras in velvet: Mystical Egypt draws gold and violet line work over black, and on the back a column of glowing orbs climbs the spine in chakra colors, red at the waist through orange, gold and green, until it reaches a pharaoh's face on the hood. The Mystical Egypt women's crushed velvet crop hoodie ($75) is 240 g/m² crushed velvet with long sleeves, a drawstring hood and a cropped hem, regular fit in sizes S–3XL.

Sacred geometry gifts: the Flower of Life and the Om

Woman from behind at a festival in the Sacred Geo women's festival cloak, violet Flower of Life lattices with gold star medallions and lavender Om symbols across the back and hood

Sacred geometry is the old idea that a few shapes (circles, triangles, overlapping petals) underlie everything from seashells to temple floors. Our guide Universal Language of Creation follows the Flower of Life through the cultures that drew it.

For the one whose notebook is full of overlapping circles: Sacred Geo spreads Flower of Life lattices across a violet and indigo field, traced in fine lines tinted with every color of the rainbow. Gold star medallions sit beside lavender Om symbols in rings on the back, the hood and the front panels. The Sacred Geo women's festival cloak ($250) shares the Chakra Mandala cloak's faux-fur-lined, double-zip, four-pocket build, also unisex in XS–5XL.

Back of the Golden OM snapback hat: gold and amber zigzag mandalas over black, with a gold Om in a ring on the back panel beside the snap strap

For the friend who chants the closing Om a little louder than everyone else: Golden OM wraps the crown in gold, amber and black zigzag mandalas, with a gold Om in a ring on the back panel. The Golden OM snapback hat ($40) is 100% polyester at a listed 150 g/m² with an adjustable snapback closure, one size fits most. No size needed.

What do you buy a yogi for Christmas?

Buy a yogi something that moves with the practice and still looks good on the walk home. At Magus Fawn, our favorites are four-way-stretch yoga leggings printed with a mandala, and loose lantern pants for ecstatic dance, kirtan and cold mornings. Both carry sacred art, so the gift feels like part of the practice.

Woman from behind at a festival in the Madriax Blue women's yoga leggings, cobalt and violet with a round lace mandala blooming on the hip and specks of starlight

For the yogi who flows on the mat and dances off it: Madriax pours cobalt and violet down the leg, with a round lace mandala blooming on the hip and tiny specks of light scattered like stars. The Madriax Blue women's yoga leggings ($70) are 225 g/m² microfiber with a raised waistband, regular fit in XS–XL. The product page promises "Four-way stretch: full coverage when you bend," exactly what a forward fold asks for, and suggests keeping them off rough surfaces. For more printed pairs, see our rave leggings guide.

Void Mandala men's lantern pants laid flat, charcoal and silver mandalas including an Om and a Flower of Life, with cuffed ankles and a drawstring waist

For the kirtan regular and the ecstatic dancer: Void Mandala is mandalas in moonlight: charcoal and silver medallions overlapping like ripples, one holding an Om, another a Flower of Life near the cuff. The Void Mandala men's lantern pants ($80) are a relaxed carrot fit with wide legs, cuffed ankles, an elastic waistband and a drawstring, in 300 g/m² poly waffle. The page calls them "perfect for spring, fall, and winter wear," and they come in XS–4XL. For the floor's customs, read What to Wear to Ecstatic Dance.

Woman from behind at a festival in the Sacred Grounds women's festival cloak: a golden figure meditating cross-legged in a Flower of Life halo, rust-red wings at the shoulders and a steaming cup on a saucer below, on black

For the 6 a.m. sit in December: before any class there's the cushion at home and a cold room at dawn. Sacred Grounds paints that hour across the back: a golden figure sits cross-legged inside a Flower of Life halo, rust-red wings open at the shoulders, and a steaming cup rests on a saucer below, framed by gold rays and a smaller mandala lower down. The Sacred Grounds women's festival cloak ($250) has the same faux-fur-lined, double-zip, four-pocket build as the two cloaks above, unisex in XS–5XL. Zip it over the lantern pants and there's room to sit cross-legged, wrapped from crown to cushion.

Third eye gifts for the dreamers

Man at a sunlit festival in the Mystic Eye Blue men's sleeveless hoodie, cobalt and aqua knotwork with a single open eye at the neckline above a column of glowing Flower of Life orbs

The dreamer on your list keeps a dream journal by the bed. In many traditions the third eye stands for inner sight; we trace it from the Ajna chakra to the Eye of Providence in What Is the Third Eye?

For the one who sees symbols everywhere: Mystic Eye Blue opens a single eye at the neckline, and beneath it a column of glowing Flower of Life orbs runs down the chest through cobalt and aqua knotwork, with more orbs climbing the back and hood. The Mystic Eye Blue men's sleeveless hoodie ($75) is 180 g/m² jersey, regular fit in S–2XL. Under a cloak in winter, the whole outfit by spring (read its story: Boot Height).

How do you give a spiritual gift without assuming someone's beliefs?

Give the art, and leave the meaning to them. Choose a symbol they've already shown they love, write one honest line about where it comes from, and skip any promise about what it will do. A sacred symbol is a living part of someone's tradition, so the kindest gift card is curious, not instructive.

  • Name the source. The Om is a "sacred sound, seed syllable, mantra, and invocation in Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism," according to Wikipedia's entry on Om.
  • Follow their lead. One friend loves a mandala as a meditation focus, another simply as art. Both are lovely reasons to wear it.
  • Keep wellness claims out of it. Say "this made me think of you," and let the practice speak for itself.

Christmas ordering, sizing and the fine print

Every gift here is made to order: 7–11 business days in production, then 6–14 in transit. For a gift in hand by Christmas Eve, place your order by Tuesday, November 17, 2026; that date still works if both stages run as long as we ever quote.

Place your order by Business days before Thu, Dec 24 What it leaves room for
Tue, Nov 17 25 Every day of both quoted windows
Wed, Nov 25 19 Middle-of-the-range times
Mon, Dec 7 13 Our quickest times only

Weekdays only, with Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week (Nov 26–27) left out. See our shipping policy for details.

  • Shipping: within the US, $70 and up travels free and anything less costs $8; international shipping starts at $10. All three cloaks clear the free line alone.
  • Choosing a size: for cloaks, pick a size larger, since the FAQ mentions "sometimes even 2 sizes up to fit extra layers under." See our cloak buyer's guide for fit, and Psychedelic Gifts Under $75 when you can't guess their size.
  • Made for one person: every piece is printed and sewn for its new owner, which is why every sale is final. Email measurements to art@magusfawn.com; we typically reply within 1–2 business days. Should anything arrive damaged or wrong, photos within 48 hours of delivery let us put it right.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Om symbol mean?

Om is a sacred sound and syllable in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. In Hinduism its written form is the most important symbol, and the syllable is often chanted on its own, before recitations and during meditation. On clothing it's best treated with the same respect: worn as a sign of devotion or admiration, never as a joke.

What is the difference between a mandala and a yantra?

A mandala, from the Sanskrit word for circle, is a geometric arrangement of symbols from Indian religions, used as an aid to meditation. A yantra is a geometric diagram, mainly from tantric traditions: triangles, circles and lotus petals radiating from a central point, used in worship and meditation. In Hinduism, a basic mandala is also called a yantra.

Can you wear printed festival leggings to a yoga class?

Yes. Printed festival leggings work for yoga when the fabric has four-way stretch and a waistband that stays put. Our women's yoga leggings use a 75% recycled poly and 25% elastane microfiber with a raised waistband, and the product page promises full coverage when you bend. Practice on a mat to protect the fabric.
