Late April on the Trinity River. The downtown Fort Worth skyline stands behind the stages, the lawn is green, and the afternoon is warm enough for bare shoulders. Near the gate, a pool-noodle totem wrapped in pink tape bobs above the crowd like a stick of rock candy.
For 2027, Ubbi Dubbi has a flavor. The official site invites fans to "Step into Canditopia" on April 23 and 24 at Panther Island Pavilion, and promises "the sweetest adventure in the galaxy." Candy and outer space. We can dress for that.
From Los Angeles, Magus and Lylyth Fawn read Canditopia as a two-course dessert: sherbet colors and light layers for the Texas afternoon, then a hooded cloak for the hours when the river air cools and the bass rolls deeper. The lineup is still "coming soon," so this guide works from the official site, the festival's 2026 guide and NOAA's climate normals for Fort Worth.
What colors fit Ubbi Dubbi's Canditopia theme?
Candy colors with a dash of outer space fit Canditopia: mint, lilac, orchid and berry, or a galaxy print, in pieces light enough for a warm Fort Worth afternoon. Magus Fawn's plan for Ubbi Dubbi 2027 is a snapback and a breathable top by day, then a hooded cloak after dark, when the riverside air cools.
Ubbi Dubbi loves a theme. In 2026 the festival's homepage said "Dive Into The Abyss" and asked fans to "descend through the portal and ride the waves," and 2027 swaps the deep sea for a sugar-dusted galaxy. The 2026 guide kept its dress advice short: comfortable dancing shoes, party clothes and your festival colors, worn loud.
Our reading of the brief: pastel candy for the day, deep-space jewel tones for the night, and pockets for everything.
What NOAA says about a Fort Worth April
A Magus Fawn outfit for Ubbi Dubbi covers two climates on one ticket: a warm Texas afternoon and a cooler riverside night. NOAA's 1991–2020 normals for Fort Worth Meacham International Airport, the nearest airport station, about four miles north of the venue, give April an average high of 75.6°F and an average low of 53.8°F.
| April at Fort Worth Meacham | 1991–2020 normal |
|---|---|
| Average high | 75.6°F |
| Average low | 53.8°F |
| Nights below 50°F | about 10 a month |
| Nights below 40°F | about 2 a month |
| Days with 0.10 in. of rain or more | about 4 a month |

In 2026, per the festival guide, the gates opened at 3 p.m. and the event ended at midnight on both days, so you arrive near the afternoon's peak and leave as the evening slides toward that low. There was no re-entry, which turns the cloak into a wear-it-in piece: open at golden hour, zipped for the walk to the car.
The festival ran rain or shine in 2026, with ponchos on the allowed list and umbrellas on the prohibited one, so a folded poncho earns a pocket. For the rest of the state's spring calendar, from Burning Flipside to Breakaway, see our Texas festival guide.
Candy colors in the Texas sun
Magus Fawn's day pieces for Ubbi Dubbi keep the sun off your face and the breeze on your skin. Panther Island Pavilion is an outdoor venue on the Trinity River, and the venue says its waterfront stage is the only one in Texas, so the afternoon belongs to the riverbank.

A scoop of mint. The Candy Star Burst Flower of Life snapback ($40) might be the most Canditopia piece in our shop. Lime rings interlock across a green crown that turns blue at the edges: the Flower of Life, sacred geometry's overlapping-circle grid, served like pistachio and lime ice. Under the brim, the same lattice repeats in fine white lines on black. The print is dye-sublimated into light 150 g/m² polyester, and an adjustable plastic snap at the back makes it one size and unisex.

Starlight temple. For the galaxy half of the theme, the Celestial Temple men's sleeveless hoodie ($75) carries a whole cosmos on the front: a triangle-framed eye at the chest, bronze-lined towers stacked like a city seen from orbit, teal orbs lit up in the stonework, small planets drifting along the hem and a golden star burning in the middle. The jersey is 180 g/m², mostly poly with 5% spandex for stretch, cut as a sleeveless pullover, regular fit, S–2XL. Open arms for a 75°F afternoon, a hood for the moment the sun gets personal.

Melted lollipop. Below the temple, the Psytrance unisex athletic long shorts ($60; $65 in 2XL–4XL, $70 in 5XL–6XL) swirl hot pink, lime, orange and violet together like a rainbow lollipop melting in the Texas sun. They're a 174 g/m² recycled-poly-and-spandex microfiber (91/9) that wicks sweat, dries quickly and stretches in every direction, and the listing gives them UPF 50+ sun protection. A drawstring waist and two mesh side pockets finish them, unlined and relaxed, 2XS–6XL.

Rainbow sherbet. For a bodysuit look at a 75°F gate, the Rainbow Swirl of Life women's one-piece swimsuit ($65; $68 in 2XL, $69 in 3XL) is every flavor in one scoop: pastel bands of lilac, pink, mint, sky blue and butter yellow melt over thin white Flower of Life lines. The fabric weighs 225 g/m² and stretches four ways, recycled poly with 25% elastane, cut with a doubled front, a low back and a scoop at the neck, XS–3XL. After dark, the Angel Catcher cloak zips right over it.

Galactic frosting. When the light turns gold, the Galactic Alien Oracle crushed velvet crop hoodie ($75) brings the space-candy look: silver-blue scrollwork curls through periwinkle and violet like icing piped by a passing starship, with glowing orbs set into it like watchful eyes. The fabric is crushed velvet at 240 g/m², a 95/5 blend of polyester and spandex, cut as a long-sleeved cropped women's hoodie with a drawstring, S–3XL. Velvet throws sparks of stage light, and the cropped cut keeps an April evening breezy.
Spun sugar and black cherry after dark
Magus Fawn cloaks are built for this part of an April night, when the afternoon has gone and the last sets are still ahead. Each cloak pairs a micro-mink poly outer, with a listed fabric weight of 200 g/m², and an ultra-soft fluffy microfiber fleece lining whose faux fur comes black or white. Up front there's a double zipper, heavy drawstrings cinch it, and four pockets carry your night: a deep one on each hip, plus a pair of inside stash pockets, one with its own zipper. Sizes run XS–5XL in a unisex cut.

Cotton-candy geometry. The Angel Catcher Light Pink women's festival cloak ($250) is our Canditopia cloak, and in these photos it reads lilac and orchid more than pink. A violet hexagon at the chest holds the Flower of Life, white and lilac lines web out from it with a mint-green spark at every crossing, and outlined hexagrams sit below the medallion and up on the hood. Seen from the back, it's a spun-sugar mandala. Wear it open over the crop hoodie while the light is gold, then zip it all the way up at midnight.

Black-cherry deep space. The Dream Weaver Red men's festival cloak ($250) is the night candy, all black cherry, plum and violet. Spires rise at the shoulders, an owl-like face with amber eyes holds the center of the front, small gold pyramids glint to its left and right, and scrolls curl toward the hem like poured syrup. Pair it with the sleeveless hoodie, and the pockets take over from a bag.
Cat ears at the gate: the $150 hooded blanket
A hooded blanket with ears from Magus Fawn is the other warm layer we'd pack for Ubbi Dubbi, and the 2026 item list put plastic tarps and blankets on the acceptable side. Each one is $150, cut from 100% poly fleece at 300 g/m², and comes in one oversized 4XL fit.
Here's the Canditopia joke we can't resist. The 2026 list also banned stuffed animals, yet a blanket with a cat-ear hood is about the most plush-toy thing a grown raver can wear through the gate. Our hooded blankets are oversized pullovers with a front quarter zip and an oversized front pocket, so they slide on over a crop hoodie or a sleeveless top. Spread it on the lawn between sets, then wear it out to the parking lot at midnight.
Which bags and gear pass the Ubbi Dubbi gate?
The 2026 festival guide set the bag rules: plush bags, purses and bags with a single compartment, none bigger than 12 by 12 inches, fanny packs within 10 by 9 inches, and hydration packs only with a see-through, removable bladder, carried in empty. Bags with several pockets stayed outside. Magus Fawn's tip: a cloak's four pockets carry the rest.
On the 2026 allowed list: hats, ponchos, earplugs, LED gloves, flow toys, poi and hula hoops, glowing costumes and jewelry, kaleidoscope glasses and goggles, misting fans up to 8 inches, and factory-sealed, travel-size, non-aerosol sunscreen.
On the 2026 prohibited list: liquid makeup, large chains or spiked jewelry, gas masks, tactical gear, costumes that resemble police, fire, medical or security uniforms, umbrellas, tents, chairs and camping gear, and markers, pens or spray paint.
Rental lockers measured about 8 by 11 by 17 inches in 2026, enough for a folded crop hoodie and a phone. The 2027 guide will land on the official site closer to April, so treat these as last year's rules until then.
How many weeks ahead should you order for Ubbi Dubbi 2027?
Six weeks: order by Thursday, March 11, 2027, for a comfortable margin, and by Thursday, March 18 at the latest. Nothing ships from a warehouse shelf: production takes 7–11 business days from checkout, and US delivery adds 6–14 more, so even the slowest timeline delivers a March 18 order by Thursday, April 22.
We count back from April 22, the last business day before the gates open: 30 business days for the comfortable date, which leaves a week to try everything on, and 25 for the last call. No federal holiday falls inside that stretch. The full method, and dates for 41 more festivals, live in our guide to how long made-to-order festival clothing takes.
Two notes before checkout. Sales are final, so if you sit between two sizes, send your numbers to art@magusfawn.com first; we tend to reply within 1–2 business days. For a velvet layer under a cloak or hoodie, our FAQ recommends a size up, sometimes two. US orders ship free once they reach $70, and fans flying in from abroad pay from $10 for shipping.
When something does need sorting out after delivery, we take care of it. Flormina, writing in July 2026, said the shop "immediately responded with a proposal to make it right."
Sweet first, starry later
Canditopia gives you permission to dress like dessert, and the Trinity River gives you a cool night to finish in. Wear the candy in daylight, keep the galaxy for after dark, and let the cloak carry you out at midnight.
