A painted parachute canopy lifts and settles over the campsite lane like a slow breath, throwing violet shade across a row of tents. Beneath it, someone is hanging mirrored mandalas between two poles, and a neighbor in a straw hat is passing out watermelon.
Beyond the tents the grass has gone gold. The valley stretches away toward woods and farmland, and a steady pulse drifts up from the main stage and hangs in the warm air.
This is O.Z.O.R.A., the great Hungarian psytrance gathering at Dádpuszta, and what to wear to Ozora follows the valley's two moods. Afternoons run warm, around 29°C (85°F). After dark the fields cool to roughly 13–16°C (55–60°F), and the dancers who stay out to watch the sky turn pink reach for their hoods.
O.Z.O.R.A. 2027 runs from Friday, July 23 to Tuesday, August 3, according to the official festival site. We're Magus and Lylyth Fawn, Los Angeles visionary artists, festival lifers and, on Magus's side, a Psy EDM producer. Here's what we'd pack.
Dressing for O.Z.O.R.A. 2027: sun, dance floor and dawn
Ozora asks for a wardrobe that changes with the light. Our plan runs from breathable prints, a brim and a small bag in the warm hours, through flowing pants for the dance floor, to a faux-fur-lined hooded cloak once the fields cool.
| Dádpuszta hour | Valley weather | Outfit |
|---|---|---|
| Afternoon | Around 29°C (85°F), sun on open grass | Bodysuit or tank, cotton shorts, bucket hat, chest bag |
| Golden hour | Camps glowing, stages filling | Velvet tank and lantern pants |
| After midnight | 13–16°C (55–60°F) | Hooded cloak over the day outfit |
| First light | Dew on the grass, the coolest stretch | Cloak zipped, hood up |
The site covers 145 hectares, per the Hungarian event guide Telekom Spots, so pack the night layer in the morning and carry it.
How hot is Ozora in the afternoon?

Warm and bright. Ozora's valley afternoons in late July usually reach about 29°C (85°F), with sun on open grass and long walks between camp and the stages. Dress for airflow: a bodysuit or tank, breathable cotton shorts, a brim that shades your face, sunscreen, a refillable bottle and a small bag that keeps your hands free.
Add closed shoes or sturdy sandals for the campsite lanes, and a light rain shell for the midsummer storm that can sweep through and cool the air in minutes.
The bodysuit. The Egyptian Atlantis sleeveless bodysuit ($55, XS–2XL) lays gold relief over deep navy: a tree of life in a round medallion at the chest, golden jackals and a gold dome below, pyramid emblems at the sides and an eye in a ring across the back. It's 92% poly and 8% spandex in a skinny fit, with a half-high collar that sits clean at the throat.

The shorts. The Celestial Temple unisex cotton shorts ($65, S–5XL) raise gold-trimmed towers through an indigo and violet starfield, with an orb glowing in every niche and an eye inside a triangle near the waistband. They're 100% cotton at 245 g/m², with an elastic waistband, a regular fit, side pockets and a back pocket.

The hat. The Psytrance bucket hat ($50) swirls liquid marbling in lavender, pink, gold, sky blue and lime, with a black underbrim traced in a white flower-of-life lattice. It's 275 g/m² in XS, S/M and L/XL, and it already has a psytrance story of its own: The Waterfall at 145 BPM.

The bag. The Alien Cyber Punk Mech chest bag ($50) carries its art on a zippered front panel: aqua, cobalt and violet machinery coiling around a white star-shaped emblem, ringed with tiny lights, a flower-of-life mandala glowing below and an eye keeping watch above. Earplugs and sunscreen ride on an adjustable black sling, right where you can reach them.
From the main stage to the Ambyss: Ozora's five venues
The music at Ozora spreads across five venues, and Telekom Spots sums them up neatly: a full range of psytrance on the main stage, techno-house in the Pumpui tent, downtempo leanings in The Dome, world music at the Dragon Nest and ambient at the Ambyss, the newest venue. One outfit can visit all five: day pieces for the main stage, lantern pants as the Pumpui and The Dome fill up, and a cloak for the ambient hours.

The tank. For the Dragon Nest, the Electric Dragonscape crushed velvet tank ($60, S–5XL) spreads an armored dragon across the back in cobalt, sapphire, ice blue and silver, wings flared, a blue orb glowing at its heart. It's crushed velvet, 95% poly and 5% spandex at 240 g/m², in a regular fit.

The pants. Lantern and harem pants are a psytrance staple, and our guide to what to wear to a psytrance festival explains why. The Cosmic Cross Silver lantern pants ($80, XS–4XL) pour silver, charcoal and lavender filigree from the drawstring waist to the gathered cuffs, mirrored down the center like carving on a cathedral door. They're listed as 95% poly and 5% spandex at 300 g/m², sold as men's and worn by anyone.
How cold do Ozora nights get?
Cool enough to want a hood. Ozora nights in the valley typically settle around 13–16°C (55–60°F), and after a 29°C afternoon the hours before sunrise feel cooler still. Carry a warm hooded layer from the afternoon on, so you can stay at the stage through the morning sets instead of walking back to camp.
Our guide to staying warm at a festival at night goes deeper into dressing for the dawn hours.
The cloak. All Magus Fawn festival cloaks are built alike: a micro-mink outer, an ultra-soft fluffy microfiber fleece lining in black or white faux fur (listed fabric weight 200 g/m²), a double front zipper, heavy drawstrings and four pockets, two deep side pockets plus two interior stash pockets, one of them zippered. Unisex fit, XS–5XL. Tyler, reviewing an Ophanim cloak in November 2025: "Very cozy, a little longer than expected." Worth knowing if you're between sizes.

For him, the Angel Catcher Light Yellow men's festival cloak ($250) radiates white and lavender starbursts over cream and pale gold. Between the shoulders, a rust-ringed medallion holds a lime and olive flower of life, with a black-outlined six-pointed star beneath it: the early-morning sky, drawn in geometry.

For her, the Sacred Geo women's festival cloak ($250) sets gold flower-of-life grids over violet and indigo smoke, with nested gold stars, rose-lavender Om symbols and a Sri Yantra circle near the hem. Read the story behind the print: The Laminated Burner.
How did O.Z.O.R.A. begin?
With an eclipse. The land first hosted a festival called Solipse for the total solar eclipse of August 11, 1999, according to Wikipedia. The festival returned to the site in 2004 and has gathered every summer since, apart from 2020 and 2021, growing into one of Europe's best-known psytrance festivals.
Visit Hungary now describes a week-long cultural event where workshops and lectures share the valley with musicians and visual artists.
