Elements Festival Outfits 2027: What to Wear to the Pocono Forest Gathering

|Magus Fawn

Lasers run through the treetops like silk thread, and a mirror ball as wide as a tractor tire turns slowly between two trunks.

This is Air, the stage Elements calls its temple of melodies, tucked deep in a Pennsylvania forest. Dreamcatchers sway from the branches, treehouse platforms lift dancers above the crowd, and the wood smells of wet leaves and the last summer shower. Elements festival outfits have three jobs out here: move freely, shrug off a passing storm, and look like art when a laser finds them.

Walk on and the festival changes element. Fire glows like a forge. Earth lights the path to the bass with neon trees and galactic mushrooms. At Water, a sunshine playground, swimsuits are part of the dress code.

We're Magus and Lylyth Fawn, Los Angeles visionary artists. Here's what to wear to Elements Music & Arts Festival in 2027: one look per element, plus the layer for a Pocono night.

What should you wear to Elements Festival?

Start light for warm August days and save one layer for Pocono nights in the 60s°F. Magus Fawn's Elements formula follows the four stages: a fiery bodysuit for Fire, a swimsuit for Water, a psychedelic crop top or velvet polo for Earth, and a velvet tee under a chiffon kimono for Air.

Elements is a three-day camping festival on the Pocono Raceway grounds in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, with stages spread through the woodland beside the track. Wear shoes made for forest paths, and dress for the stage you're heading to: venue hours run until 3 a.m., so one day can hold two or three looks.

How cool are Pocono nights at Elements Festival?

Mild rather than cold. Elements lands in early August, when Long Pond nights usually settle into the 60s°F, so one light layer covers the late sets. Magus Fawn treats it as a warm-weather festival with a rain plan: summer storms rolled through in 2026, and the forest holds its damp long after a shower passes.

Heavy clouds and rain arrived on the first two days of the 2026 edition, according to EDMTunes' festival review, and the crowd danced straight through. Pack a poncho, shoes you're happy to get muddy and a dry change for camp. Our guide to what to wear to a festival in the rain has the full kit, and our guide to staying warm at a festival at night covers the colder events.

What are the four stages at Elements Festival?

Elements names its four stages for the classical elements: Fire, Earth, Water and Air. According to the festival's Meet the Elements page, Fire carries the high-energy bass, Earth blends bass, psychedelic, world and jam sounds, Water runs from dubstep to house, and Air holds techno, house, Afrobeat and ambient through the night.

Element The world it builds What to wear
Fire The main stage, a "goddess of light" A bodysuit in molten color
Water A sunshine playground; swimsuits encouraged A one-piece swimsuit or a marbled tee
Earth Neon trees, galactic mushrooms, airborne jellyfish A mushroom-print crop top or a velvet polo
Air A temple of melodies deep in the forest A silver-toned velvet tee and a chiffon kimono

Fire: a bodysuit for the main stage

Woman at a festival main stage in the Liquid Fire V-neck bodysuit, molten orange, magenta and gold swirls, a main stage outfit for Elements

Fire is the Elements main stage, home to high-energy bass, and it wants an outfit that already looks like it's burning.

The Liquid Fire V-neck bodysuit ($55, XS–2XL) pours molten swirls of orange, magenta, violet, gold and lime from the plunging neckline to the hips, like a lava lamp caught mid-pour. It's microfiber with stretch (95% poly, 5% spandex, 180 g/m²), with an open back and a snap closure. The same molten art dances through a golden anniversary in our story The Lava Dance.

What do you wear to the Water stage at Elements?

Wear a swimsuit. When Elements announced its 2024 lineup, it described Water as a sunshine playground where swimsuits are heavily encouraged, and the stage's sound runs from dubstep and drum and bass to techno and house. Magus Fawn's Water look is a printed one-piece with shorts, or a marbled velvet tee for anyone who prefers sleeves.

Woman at a forest festival stage in the Mechanical Kraken one-piece swimsuit, teal and gold tentacle filigree, a festival swimsuit for the Water stage

In 2026 a giant laser-lit octopus crowned the Water stage, so our pick has tentacles of its own. The Mechanical Kraken one-piece swimsuit ($65, XS–3XL) coils peacock-blue and gold filigree tentacles over deep teal and slate, as ornate as a ship's figurehead. It's four-way stretch (75% recycled poly, 25% elastane, 225 g/m²) with a scoop neck, a low scoop back and a double-layer front, and it wears Lylyth's Personal Pick badge in the shop. The Kraken surfaces at sea in our cruise love story The Lights Under the Wake.

Man at a festival in the Blue Marble crushed velvet t-shirt, cobalt and white marbling, a men's rave tee

For the guys, the Blue Marble crushed velvet t-shirt ($60 in crushed velvet, XS–5XL) swirls cobalt, slate, white and charcoal like river water over stone. The print also comes in poly jersey ($50) and 100% cotton ($60), a soft choice for a humid afternoon.

Earth: neon trees, galactic mushrooms and a velvet polo

Earth is the psychedelic heart of Elements: neon trees, galactic mushrooms, airborne jellyfish and, in 2026, a giant deer that came alive with projections after dark. Wear a print that belongs there.

Shroom Flower of Life Pastel one-shoulder cropped top, pastel mushroom caps around a spiral medallion, a psychedelic crop top for the Earth stage

The Shroom Flower of Life Pastel one-shoulder cropped top ($40, XS–2XL) stacks frilled mushroom caps in lavender, mint, pink and lemon around a spiral medallion at the center. It's a skinny-fit stretch knit (80% poly, 20% spandex, 230 g/m²) with an asymmetrical neckline. Its cloak siblings glow through a Pocono forest in The Biggest Tree on the Hill.

Man at a festival in the Galactic Alien Oracle crushed velvet polo shirt, violet filigree around a central figure, a men's festival polo

The Galactic Alien Oracle crushed velvet polo shirt ($65, S–5XL) runs violet, lavender and periwinkle filigree around a tall central figure, the oracle standing guard down the front like a totem. It's crushed velvet (240 g/m²) with a collar and short sleeves, sharp and comfortable through a long bass set. The oracle has its own adventure in The Oracle and the Last Ferry.

Air: a velvet tee and a chiffon kimono for the long night

Air is where Elements goes deep into the night. Chains and studded jewelry stay outside the venue, so let the print carry the silver.

Man at a festival in the Angel Catcher Light Grey crushed velvet t-shirt, silver-grey wings and medallions, a techno outfit for the Air stage

The Angel Catcher Light Grey crushed velvet t-shirt ($60, XS–5XL) spreads feathered silver-grey wings across the shoulders, with sacred-geometry medallions in white and charcoal circling a star emblem at the center. Under the mirror balls it reads like a dreamcatcher made of moonlight, and crushed velvet (240 g/m²) throws the lasers back.

Woman on a festival field in the Enochian Vision Purple chiffon kimono, navy with gold sacred geometry, belted over a black bodysuit, a light festival layer

For the walk back through the trees, the Enochian Vision Purple chiffon kimono ($75, S–5XL) falls to the ankle in midnight navy, with gold and violet sacred-geometry filigree climbing the panels. It's featherweight chiffon (100% poly, 80 g/m²) with cuffed sleeves and a waist belt: tie it closed when the woods cool, or float it open over the Liquid Fire bodysuit.

What can you bring through the gates at Elements Festival?

Bring a small bag and the basics. The official Elements FAQ allows hydration packs (empty at entry), small backpacks, fanny packs, purses and 12×12 drawstring bags with up to two main compartments and one smaller one, plus hats, sunglasses, earplugs and one factory-sealed water bottle up to 1 liter.

The Elements FAQ also allows non-aerosol sunscreen in containers of 3 oz or less and one small towel or blanket. Leave umbrellas, chains, large backpacks and anything aerosol at camp. Three-day pass holders get re-entry; single-day passes don't.

When is Elements Festival 2027?

Elements Festival 2027 runs Friday, August 6, to Sunday, August 8, 2027, at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, according to the festival's official FAQ. An Early Arrival Pass opens Thursday, August 5, for 3-day pass holders. Magus Fawn suggests ordering outfits by late June so they arrive with a week to spare.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have to be 18 to go to Elements Festival?

Yes. Elements Music & Arts Festival is an 18+ event, and its official FAQ asks every attendee to bring a government-issued photo ID showing their name and date of birth. Passes come as physical wristbands that the festival mails in the month before the event, so check your shipping address on your ticket order early.

How many people go to Elements Festival?

About 33,000 people attended the sold-out ninth edition in August 2026, with more than 150 musical acts across the four element stages, according to My Modern Met's festival review. The crowd spreads across the raceway grounds and the surrounding woods, so agree on a meeting point near a stage your whole crew knows.

What are Vibe Villages at Elements Festival?

Vibe Villages are group camps of at least 15 people, organized around the four elemental themes. Fire camps host shared experiences like sound camps and interactive art, Earth camps run participatory happenings such as parades and treasure hunts, Water camps celebrate themed costumes, decorations and gifting, and Air camps keep it easy with friends.

Can you bring an umbrella to Elements Festival?

No. Umbrellas are on the venue's prohibited items list in the official Elements FAQ. A packable poncho is the classic festival rain plan instead: it folds small enough for a compliant bag and pulls on over any outfit in seconds. Pair it with shoes you're happy to get muddy, since the Pocono woods stay damp after a shower.
